Alex Pedroza

I know it's not my title to give away, but Alex is easily the Marcos King right now.

Cameron Sanchez just finished up his new flick OVERdose. After two years of filming the video is done, and live on WWW.OVERDOSESKATE.COM -- but like any skateboarding video these days, you can lurk good ol' YouTube and get your kicks that way.

But back to Pedroza. His part is finished, and one thing that really caught my eye in his part was how much San Marcos I saw in it. Pedroza skates spot that we've all skated for years, but continues to shut them down again and again. Pretty much every spot in San Marcos, Pedroza has shut down. (Like really -- no one is allowed to skate Ralphs 10 ever again) He goes back for more all the time, just so he can one-up himself. And who could blame him? I've always said it: Pedroza is just a real, raw, 100% skateboarder. Nothing else. I'll never see him as anything more, and personally, I wouldn't want to. I envy Gerbs for his passion and commitment on his board dude. Mark my word, because it's been said before, Alax is going to do big things, man.

Well that's enough butt-kissing. Here's Alex's new part in OVERdose. It's ripping.
